This study aims to analyze the management model of Masjid Qaryah Kampung Perlis, Penang, Malaysia, focusing on Qur’anic literacy, da‘wah strategies, social capital formation, financial management, and waqf development. This study employed a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation and were analyzed using the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña, comprising data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that the Celik Al-Qur’an Program is the mosque’s primary initiative, designed according to community needs through gradual learning activities, including Iqra’, halaqah, talaqqi, tadarus, tajwid, and Qur’anic reflection. The program improves Qur’anic reading skills and facilitates the regeneration of Qur’an teachers to ensure the sustainability of da‘wah. Regular learning activities also strengthen social capital by fostering trust, social networks, and Islamic brotherhood, thereby increasing community participation in mosque programs. These achievements are supported by community-based financial management and the development of waqf assets for establishing a learning center and expanding community services. The study concludes that successful mosque management results from integrating Qur’anic education, professional governance, social capital, and sustainable waqf planning.
Muzakir Muzakir Copyright (c) 2026 Jurnal Seumubeuet https://ejournal.ymal.or.id/index.php/jsmbt/article/view/298 Tue, 30 Jun 2026 00:00:00 +0000 Manajemen Pendidikan Agama Islam Pra Sekolah untuk Menguatkan Nilai-Nilai Keislaman Anak Usia Dini https://ejournal.ymal.or.id/index.php/jsmbt/article/view/299
Islamic religious education at the preschool level plays an essential role in developing children’s faith, moral character, worship habits, and social behavior from an early age. However, its implementation in some educational institutions remains limited to routine religious activities that are not systematically, integratively, and sustainably managed. This study aims to analyze the management of preschool Islamic religious education and explain its role in strengthening Islamic values among young children. The study employed a descriptive qualitative library research method. Data were obtained from books, journal articles, research reports, and scholarly documents related to educational management, Islamic religious education, preschool education, and children’s religious development. The data were collected through documentation and analyzed using content analysis involving selection, classification, comparison, interpretation, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that strengthening Islamic values requires the integrated implementation of planning, organizing, actuating, supervising, and evaluating functions. Islamic education programs become more effective when delivered through exemplary behavior, habituation, Islamic stories, educational games, simple worship practices, and direct experiences appropriate to children’s developmental stages. The involvement of school principals, teachers, parents, and the surrounding environment also determines the continuity of religious habituation between school and home. This study concludes that preschool Islamic religious education should not merely be implemented as a series of routine activities but should be managed systematically, collaboratively, contextually, and continuously. The study contributes to the field by offering a conceptual framework for managing preschool Islamic religious education that emphasizes the development of children’s Islamic behavior and daily religious habits.
Mutia Bustamam Copyright (c) 2026 Jurnal Seumubeuet https://ejournal.ymal.or.id/index.php/jsmbt/article/view/299 Tue, 30 Jun 2026 00:00:00 +0000 Pembelajaran PAI Berbasis Digital Spiritual Well-Being untuk Mengurangi Kecemasan Akademik Siswa Sekolah Dasar https://ejournal.ymal.or.id/index.php/jsmbt/article/view/306
The development of digital technology has transformed Islamic Religious Education learning, particularly in material delivery, interactive media use, and students’ access to learning resources. However, the use of technology in Islamic Religious Education has predominantly focused on improving motivation, subject comprehension, and learning outcomes, while its role in supporting spiritual well-being and reducing academic anxiety among elementary school students remains insufficiently explored. This study aims to analyze the concept of digital spiritual well-being-based Islamic Religious Education and its potential to reduce academic anxiety among elementary school students. The study employed a library research method by reviewing books, scholarly articles, previous studies, and academic documents related to digital Islamic Religious Education, spiritual well-being, elementary student development, and academic anxiety. The data were analyzed through classification, reduction, interpretation, comparison, and synthesis of the selected literature. The findings indicate that academic anxiety may manifest as fear of examinations, concerns about grades, difficulty completing assignments, and low self-confidence during learning activities. Digital spiritual well-being-based Islamic Religious Education can be implemented through Islamic reflection videos, prayer and remembrance audio, interactive digital stories, gratitude journals, and reflective activities integrating patience, reliance on God, gratitude, and positive thinking. The study concludes that this approach has the potential to create a calming and meaningful learning environment while supporting students’ emotional readiness. This study contributes to the field by offering a conceptual framework that integrates digital technology, Islamic spiritual values, and academic anxiety management within elementary-level Islamic Religious Education.
Azmi Yudha Zulfikar Copyright (c) 2026 Jurnal Seumubeuet https://ejournal.ymal.or.id/index.php/jsmbt/article/view/306 Sat, 01 Aug 2026 00:00:00 +0000 Peran Tokoh Masyarakat Dalam Upaya Mencegah Pergaulan Toxic Remaja Di Kecamatan Bintang Kabupaten Aceh Tengah https://ejournal.ymal.or.id/index.php/jsmbt/article/view/301
Toxic socialization among the younger generation has become an increasingly concerning phenomenon, characterized by various forms of deviant behavior, including the widespread practice of online gambling, offensive language, ilegal street racing, theft, and bullying. Addressing juvenile delinquency has largely been examined through the perspectives of family parenting, the role of schools, and formal law enforcement, while the role of community leaders within the Gayo socio-cultural context remains understudied. This study aims to examine the role of community leaders in preventing toxic socialization among youth and to identify the challenges they encounter in carrying out these efforts in Bintang District, Central Aceh Regency. The research was conducted in Linung Bulen I Village and Wakil Jalil Village using a qualitative approach with a descriptive research method. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation involving 12 informants consisting of community leaders and youth, who were selected using a purposive sampling technique. The findings reveal that community leaders perform their social control function through four dimensions: normative-educational, humanistic-persuasive, facilitative roles through youth empowerment, and repressive roles based on customary sanctions. However, these efforts face significant structural and cultural challenges, including the defensive attitudes of youth, weak parental supervision, the declining sense of collective responsibility embedded in Gayo customary values, as well as the temporary nature of advice and the problem of one-way communication from community leaders to adolescents. Overall, the role of community leaders has been functioning but remains sub-optimal because the preventive approach is still dominated by situational verbal appeals and inconsistent programs, while lacking support from active family supervision and binding written village regulations (qanun).
Zita Gustina, Arifin Zain, Juli Andriyani Copyright (c) 2026 Jurnal Seumubeuet https://ejournal.ymal.or.id/index.php/jsmbt/article/view/301 Thu, 13 Aug 2026 00:00:00 +0000 Terapi Murottal Al-Quran Dalam Mengatasi Kecemasan Pada Anak Didik Di Lembaga Pembinaan Khusus Anak (LPKA) Banda Aceh https://ejournal.ymal.or.id/index.php/jsmbt/article/view/302
Anxiety is a common psychological problem experienced by juveniles at the Special Development Institution (LPKA) resulting from restricted freedom, the demands of adapting to the institutional environment, and uncertainty about their future. One effort that can be implemented to reduce anxiety is through Qur’anic murottal therapy. This study aimed to describe the implementation of Qur'anic murottal therapy using Surah Ar-Rahman and to examine changes in the anxiety levels of juveniles at LPKA Banda Aceh. This study employed an experimental approach using a pre-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design was employed involving 10 participants selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and anxiety assessments conducted before (pretest) and after (posttest) four sessions of Qur'anic murottal therapy. The findings indicated that Qur'anic murottal therapy was associated with a reduction in anxiety levels and produced positive changes in the participants' psychological well-being. Based on observations and interviews, the participants reported feeling calmer, more comfortable, better able to manage negative thoughts, more focused, and more optimistic. The anxiety assessment also demonstrated a decline following the intervention. Before the therapy, 70% of the participants were classified as having high to very high anxiety levels. After completing the therapy, anxiety levels decreased to the moderate category, with 50% of the participants falling into the low-anxiety category. These findings indicate that Murottal Al-Qur’an therapy using Surah Ar-Rahman has the potential to help reduce anxiety levels and support the psychological well-being of juvenile inmates during the rehabilitation process.
Izzatul Muzayyanah, Mahdi, Ismiati Copyright (c) 2026 Jurnal Seumubeuet https://ejournal.ymal.or.id/index.php/jsmbt/article/view/302 Sat, 15 Aug 2026 00:00:00 +0000 Dampak Bimbingan Belajar Dalam Mengurangi Kecemasan Menghadapi Ujian Akhir https://ejournal.ymal.or.id/index.php/jsmbt/article/view/309
Anxiety regarding final exams is a common challenge faced by *santri* (Islamic boarding school students) due to academic demands and a packed schedule of boarding school activities. This study aims to describe the implementation of a tutoring program, its benefits for student readiness for final exams, and the factors supporting or hindering its execution at the Daruzzahidin Islamic Boarding School in Aceh Besar. A descriptive qualitative approach with purposive sampling was employed. Data were gathered through observation, interviews, and documentation involving the head of the Islamic boarding school, one teacher, and five santri and were analyzed using the interactive model of Miles and Huberman. The results indicate that the tutoring program is implemented in a structured manner, incorporating material review, discussions, practice questions, and guidance tailored to the boarding school's schedule. The program helps students approach final exams with greater readiness, particularly by improving their understanding of previously difficult material, fostering the confidence to ask questions, and increasing their assurance when answering exam questions. These factors help alleviate concerns about failure and the fear of exams, thereby reducing the anxiety experienced by some students. The program's implementation is supported by the cooperation of the school administration, the commitment of the teachers, student motivation, and a conducive learning environment; conversely, obstacles include the heavy schedule of boarding school activities, student fatigue, and varying learning abilities. This study demonstrates that tutoring has the potential to serve as a form of academic support that enhances both the academic and psychological readiness of students for final exams.
Mursyidah Umamah, Syaiful Indra, Reza Muttaqin Copyright (c) 2026 Jurnal Seumubeuet https://ejournal.ymal.or.id/index.php/jsmbt/article/view/309 Tue, 18 Aug 2026 00:00:00 +0000 Dampak Tradisi Beguru Terhadap Perkawinan Dalam Masyarakat Gayo https://ejournal.ymal.or.id/index.php/jsmbt/article/view/312
Beguru is one of the stages in the marriage process of the Gayo people. It takes the form of a ceremony where the bride and groom are handed over to sarak opat to be provided with religious knowledge and customs. This study aims to determine the process, objectives, and impact of the beguru tradition in Gayo community marriages. This research uses a qualitative approach. Data collection was conducted through observation, interviews, and documentation. The informants consisted of reje kampung, imam kampung, petua adat, prospective bride and groom, and community members. The determination of informants was carried out using purposive sampling, while data analysis was carried out using reduction, display, and verification techniques. The results of the research show that the beguru implementation process was attended by reje kampung, imam kampung, petua adat, and relatives of the prospective bride and groom. Usually, the beguru begins with a joint prayer for the smooth running of the wedding ceremony as well as sending prayers for parents or relatives who have passed away, followed by ejer muarah, and mentawar to the prospective bride and groom. After that, the bride and groom ask for blessings from their parents, family and the people present at the event. The ceremony ended with a closing prayer and continued with a meal together. The main goal of beguru is for the prospective bride and groom to receive the blessing of both parents, traditional leaders and relatives. In beguru, the bride and groom are provided with advice and guidance as capital to build their household. Beguru has an impact on developing the character of the prospective bride and groom so that they are able to build a sakinah, mawaddah wa rahmah household.
Bustami Abubakar, Sanusi Ismail, Nova Sari Copyright (c) 2026 Jurnal Seumubeuet https://ejournal.ymal.or.id/index.php/jsmbt/article/view/312 Sun, 30 Aug 2026 00:00:00 +0000
