Fokus and Scope

Ameena Journal welcomes scholarly manuscripts that encompass a broad spectrum of disciplines, emphasizing the advancement of interdisciplinary, innovative, and socially responsive scholarship, particularly within the domains of religious and Islamic studies as well as the humanities and social sciences. Such contributions are expected to foster the cultivation of values, the development of character, and the rigorous academic as well as practical engagement with contemporary social issues, including to the following topics and subject areas:

  • Religious & Islamic Studies: Religious & Islamic Studies: Research and innovation in religious education, integration of values, and character development across subjects.

  • Humanities & Social Sciences: Studies in history, sociology, civics, arts, geography, economics, and other related fields.

  • Language, Linguistics, Communication & Media: Innovations in teaching and learning languages (Indonesian, Arabic, English, local languages), linguistics, media literacy, and communication in education.

  • Educational Technology & Digital Learning: Utilization and impact of technology, online learning, digital resources, and media in the learning process.

  • Classroom Action Research: Practical research and innovation conducted by teachers, lecturers, or education practitioners in any discipline or setting to improve classroom or institutional outcomes.

  • Curriculum & Assessment: Design, development, implementation, and evaluation of curriculum and assessment methods for all levels and types of educational institutions.

  • School/Educational Management & Policy: Studies on educational leadership, administration, policy, financing, and institutional development.

  • Counseling, Psychology, and Communication in Education: Research on student mental health, counseling practices, educational psychology, communication in learning environments, character development, and strategies to enhance student well-being and academic success.

  • Learning Environment & Community Engagement: Research on school climate, educational culture, parental and community involvement, and their impact on educational success.

  • Mathematics & Sciences: Pedagogical strategies, curriculum development, classroom-based research, and innovations in science and mathematics education.

  • Informatics Engineering & Digital Technology: The development of software, information systems, artificial intelligence (AI), data science, cybersecurity, computer networks, digital transformation, the Internet of Things (IoT), as well as the application of information technology to support national development across various sectors.

  •  Law: which broadly encompasses issues related to human rights, counter-terrorism, social justice, criminal and civil law, constitutional law, international law, and customary law as part of living law. It also includes Islamic law in general, covering specific areas such as Islamic family law.

  • Other Educational Topics: Any research or reflective article relevant to the improvement and advancement of education and teaching practices, including interdisciplinary and emerging issues.

 

The Editorial Board invites submissions that employ sound scholarly methods, are impactful, and are relevant to educators, researchers, and practitioners at local, national, and international levels. Each manuscript should present a clear research problem or focus, a comprehensive literature review, and meaningful implications for the broader field of education.
